AP Master Classes
Celebrity guests are joining some of our Online AP Classes and Review Sessions to recognize your hard work and provide a unique, real-world learning experience. Hear from actors and reporters you know from television and experts in the fields you are studying about the ways they’ve applied AP concepts in their lives and careers.
This AP English Language and Composition class is hosted by special guest, Tony Hale, Emmy Award-winning actor (Buster from Arrested Development, Gary from Veep), producer, and author (Archibald's Next Big Thing). Topics include: storytelling, communicating writers’ intentions, bringing your own story and experience to your work, and anxiety and being present.

Student Responses:
- “What resonated with me was Tony Hale’s emphasis on empathy. […] If we take the time and use empathy to put ourselves in other people’s shoes, we can solve a lot more problems than we create.”
- “Hale’s concept of combatting his tendencies to brood over the future with a demand to himself to escape by saying, ‘Not now’ is inspiring, as he employs a simple solution to such a common, yet daunting problem that teenagers face.”
Janet Yellen, economist and former Chair of the Federal Reserve, joins AP Macroeconomics to help you better understand monetary and fiscal policy.
